Torrent says fully downloaded but not working- help

I downloaded some short videos some of my collegues produced and although transmission says they are finished dling the appear as .m4v.part files. I also can find the file without the .part at the end but when I double click iTunes opens but the video doesn't start up. Help please!

have you tried opening with VLC or Movist? Might be worth a shot..

If it has a .part extension, it's not going to be a complete file. .part doesn't open up in anything - it's just a placeholder for downloaded files.

Vcl didn't work and that's the thing, they they shouldn't be part files becaue they are complete downloads. There are even files that don't have the .part that should work butstill don't
