iPad Torrents on iPad Air or Mini retina

You can connect to Wifi drives like the Seagate Satellite, but I'm not sure if there is a torrent player.
A new app called Blue Downloader apparently does it. There's concern that it may be pulled off the App Store, so grab it while you can if you want it.
I have to say, I like iOS in my phone, but this sort of general lack of freedom is why I chose an Android tablet over an iPad.
Try put.io, it's great.
It acts a bit like a seedbox, but the service actually caches popular torrents from other users so that download of popular media is often near-instant. And you can stream most videos within your iOS web browser (some will require conversion, which is handled by put.io).
It is a subscription service, but is fairly inexpensive for the convenience and very responsive service. I've been a subscriber for over a year.

This is not the Jailbreaks and iOS Hacks forum. This is the iPad forum, and most users will not jailbreak their device, so those solutions do not apply to most users.
Perhaps most people don't know what they can do if they jailbreak and think the term 'jailbreak' implies something illegal so they never look into it.
The OP wanted to know if it was possible to download torrents. It most certainly IS possible, and this is just ONE method available to him.

I can't speak for the original poster, but if I asked how I could go about doing something, I wouldn't want someone to neglect mentioning a solution (perhaps the only solution) just because they assume I won't be interested.
A very valid point.
Perhaps if someone mentioned the option and then re directed them to the jailbreak section perhaps would have been better.
Here's a related question - I download torrents on my iMac I have effectively running as a server via utorrent. It seems like there should be a way to manage those downloads happening on another computer via your iOS device but I haven't found anything when I've looked.
