TOSlink to Mni?

Hello,

I'm about to get my iMac, and was wondering about a pair of speakers...the Logitech Z 5540. They have two optical in ports, so it could accept it from the iMac. The problem is that they don't give you a cable with the speakers to do that...do I need a mini to TOSlink cable, such as this one? http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...ngid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10061059&catid=11348#

Then I would set it up with the mini port going into the iMac with the other end going into the basestation of the speakers. Would this work?

That looks like the right thing to me, and assuming it has the mini-optical adapter, then yes, you're correct--plug the mini end into the 3.5mm port on the iMac, the regular optical jack into the speakers input.
