A friend has an interesting theory, he says he thinks the new 16" MBP's all-new keyboard will have a new Touch Bar (with physical ESC key) but one of the big new features touted for the new laptop is that it will be a "Touch Bar 2" with an "always on" display like the Apple Watch 5. And the Touch Bar will have haptic feedback.
It makes a lot of sense for Apple to do this if you think about it. But it's just a theory for now. I guess we'll know soon.
