Touch Bar - option not available

Hi,

I was using the Touch Bar and somehow I can now only see the app controls - no Control Strip.

I did some research and it appears that there should be an option for "App controls with control strip" in System Preferences/Keyboard. However, this option is not there.

I can get the expanded control strip or just the app controls but I'd like to revert to the app controls with control strip which is what I had until this morning.

Can anyone advise how to regain this option?

Right next to the menu where you choose app controls, put a check in the box to show control strip.
