My 6+ started with it of all times while out of the country on vacation. So now here i sit out of country and can't hardly use my phone when i need it.

So i have to make the decision. Get it repaired ($149 from Apple, if they agree to it) or buy another. I want to get the 8 in the fall, so i'd end up buying another 6+ on swappa because, well, its much cheaper that way. BUT i put myself at risk of dealing with this again. The 7's on there are much more expensive (read: DOUBLE)..

Two questions: My current phone is on 9.3.3 and jailbroken. Think that'll make a difference when they go to approve the repair? Second question: Is it a permanent fix or could i be at risk of it happening again after the repair?

Third question: How long does the repair take?

What would you do?
