iPhone 5S.

Anyone else getting more frequent Touch ID errors? Since 8.2 I'm getting at least half or more of my unlock attempts rejected. Prior to the update I think I had one or two a day, no more. I've made no changes to my phone (or my fingerprints!) that could account for it other than the update.

It's definitely an issue for me on my iPhone 6 since upgrading to 8.2, mainly on the lock screen. Thought I was just being lazy in placing my finger properly over the TouchID sensor.

Re-register your fingerprint.

Uhm...I'm noticing this as well...i don't know if it's 8.2 or something else. But it's not how it used to be.

Resetting the fingerprint seems to do the trick. You might not notice it immediately, but after a while it will settle in again.

Yeah, I was going to do this later. It was more curiosity to see if it was just me. I've only been using Touch ID a few months, and haven't had time to assess its idiosyncrasies. Does this tend to happen after every point update?

@dustrho: I only use Touch ID for the lock screen, so that's the only aspect I've been able to test.

Never had a problem with touch ID after updating software, either with my 5s or my new iphone 6 plus.
Should people re-register their prints after every major updates, even there's no noticeable problem?
