I currently use the home button on my 2020SE for the Vanguard financial app. Just ordered a 13 mini and know there isnt a traditional touch ID, but is there some way to quickly access these applications without entering a password each time?

I would think those apps will support FaceId. The financial apps I use supported both TouchId and FaceId.

The API used to support TouchID by an app simultaneously and automatically supports FaceID as well. So it’ll effectively be the same with biometric authentication

I use the Vanguard financial app and have had my 13 mini for 3 weeks. You can set it up for face ID to log in or keep it with password with code verification if you want. I've grown to really like the face ID, use it for all banking accounts.

Just open the app then look at the screen?

Every app is different in how they handle this.

Here's my bank app…

BTW, my bank app also handles TouchID on the devices I have that use that.

PS. You may have to login to your app manually first, THEN enable the TouchID/Face ID setting.
