I bought a "silver" touch ID keyboard that came from a silver iMac. The only option available on eBay at the time was the one without the number pad. The minute I saw the standalone was available on the store I bought the number pad version. It is a totally different color. The "silver" one that comes with the iMac has keys and bottom that are much more of a cool gray/white. The standalone version is a true white (slightly yellow) color. It's hard to capture in photos but I did my best to illustrate the difference between the two. Not a big deal, just thought people might like to know that the iMac colors are really exclusive, even if you think the silver version is standard.

That is odd to me that they would use the term "silver" to describe the 24" iMac and accessories if it's not the same "silver" that they've used for so long. It's not Space Gray, but maybe they could call it "Space Silver" instead, to differentiate it as a darker-colored "silver" 😉
