None of my previously enrolled fingerprints are being recognized/read after I updated to iOS 8.4, so I decided to delete them an re-enroll. Unfortunately, every time I try to enroll a finger it tells me to use a different finger as the one I'm using is not readable. I've tried using five different fingers now, and have cleaned the TouchID pad. Any ideas on how to get this fixed, or is this something that will likely be addressed in 8.4.1? Really frustrated as iPad Air 2 with iOS 9 public beta works perfectly fine with same fingers. Anyone else in same situation?

I'll wait for the coming 8.4.1 update, if not fixed then it's the last resort for me I guess.
That or taking phone to Apple store. :(
I think that it is a software error could be fixed by an update / restore.
If the problem with iOS 8.4.1 should still occur, then the problem is with the hardware of the iPhone.

Assuming there is one coming, it may be a while. You'd be better off resetting your phone until then. I know it's a PITA, but IMHO it's not worth waiting for a 8.4.1 update for something that may be able to be fixed with a simple restore/reset.

I had recently restored my phone as new after the recent update (felt it wasn't performing as well as it was before) and haven't had any probs. even setting up the Touch ID was easy and quick.

Edit: apparently Apple released 8.4.1 dev beta but it's unknown if your issue will be fixed.

Guys thanks for your advice, I took your heed and did the restore after a huge backup.
Apparently it must have been a glitch, as after restore it works like before! :D
Couldn't be more happier!

Although I have to admit that this was my first restore in over a year!
Had a horrible Android Device flashback, with constant resets/restores which made me switch to iPhone.:p
