So I have run into this issue, which occurs right after every Friday-onto-Saturday midnight. Both on my iPhone 6S Plus and my iPad Air2. Both running the latest iOS 9 (not beta.)

As soon as it turns Saturday, both my iPhone and my iPad ask me to enter my passcode because "Touch ID requires your passcode after 48 hours." despite me having used both devices a minute beforehand. I've now watched this behaviour for a few weeks in a row to be sure it's not me who's crazy, but iOS.

I thought maybe it has something to do with the fact that I moved from Europe to Australia. But while I brought the iPad from Europe, I only bought the iPhone here in Australia and set it up as a brand new device instead of restoring from a backup.

Google shows me that there is a small pocket of people on reddit complaining about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/3nwpq4/touch_id_asks_for_passcode_after_48_hours_even/

As well as a small pocket of people on imore.com: http://forums.imore.com/ios-9/34518...code-after-48-hours-after-less-than-10-a.html

Has this been noticed here? I'm trying to figure out what is causing this, but no luck so far.
