Sunday my iPhone 4 stopped working and wouldn't cut on, just a black rock. I plugged it in and played with the buttons and it just started up and back at 100% too.
Well my daughters touch just did the same except it hasn't started up again. I have plugged it in to my Mac, held the power key down, held the power and home key down.
I know we have recently both downloaded some free astronomy apps-I guess one is killing touches and phones.
Anyone have a good idea for me? Her touch is black, iTunes doesn't start up when I plug it in, there is no response of any kind.

update: just kept holding down and cycling the power and home button then got the following msg

but I was able to get it running again. VERY strange, I then checked our new free astronomy apps and we don't have any of the same ones.
Has this been common?
