I have a Macbook Pro, had it for over a year now.

It wasn't until recently I find the "multi-touch" effects of my touch pad won't work. I can still use the two-finger scroll up and down effect though. The other two effects that I would normally use are the "three finger" go back and forth between pages or notes... and the "two finger" spacing out diagonally to make the text smaller or larger.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or is it an update failure?! Thanks in advance.

have you tried resetting the trackpad maybe? you can do this by placing your palm on the trackpad for 5 seconds or so.

you could also try installing this firmware update

also, is there a preference you may have overlooked that might've accidentally been turned off? i have a powerbook so i'm not familiar with the multitouch settings but there could be something in the trackpad preference pane? sorry if i'm stating the obvious.
