Touch Screek MBA?

When will Apple be releasing it? A lot of windows8 ultrabooks are touch-screen... Is Apple falling behind again?

Since when does Apple follow the Jonese?

I was thinking the opposite, that Windows laptops have better have touch screen now because no way are people gonna operate Win8 with the ole kbd+mouse.

NOW I understand why the Macbooks have such a huge touch pad, and that it works smooth, no competition means the need for a touch screen is not such a big deal, but OK, maybe eventually

I imagine it would be very ineffective to go from typing, and then lifting one hand to the screen as opposed to typing and using the trackpad.

So in my opinion, never.
