Hi, I was at the New York Met today and was astonished to see that the museum had touch screen Imacs and other touch screen apple computers,

anyone know how this is?
thanks

They sell these glass covered panels that you can stick over your imac and make it into a touchscreen imac.

Costs like $900 though

I forgot which company does it, but they mod iMacs with digitizers.

I was going to post something about touch screen iMac's.

When I was at the last LA auto show Nissan had several of them in their area. I am new to Mac, so searched the Apple website and couldn't find anything. I just figured Apple stopped making them based on what Jobs said about touching a large screen.

Anyway, they must have had that done also, but I will say it was done extremely well because I couldn't see anything that didn't look like original equipment.

So is the slipcover any good or what? I'm reasoning "yes" as Trolltouch hasn't gone out of business since starting up a few years ago (and has introduced new products as well), but finding a review on this seems impossible.
