iPod touch Touch screen keypad doesn't appear. (Please help)

Hello!

My nephew got a iPod touch. He can receive email. However, when he goes to reply, the keypad doesn't appear.


How can this be fixed?

just do a software restore in iTunes.

To do this, plug in your ipod into your computer and open itunes. Go to your ipod and click restore. It will download the firmware file (*.ispw) and then it will extract it and restore your ipod. You will have to put all of the music and videos and whatnot back on the ipod, but that should fix it.
