Touch Screen NOT responding

Hi all,
Iphone with the screen not responding anywhere to touch. Its @1.1.3 and unlocked, activated, jailbroken via ZIPHONE.

Before I take it into Apple...

Question is... should restore via an itunes or restore via ZIPHONE?

Is it low on battery? I know mine was acting weird when it had a low charge. Other then that, if you return it, you will have to reset it because jailbreaking it will void the warrenty
