iPod touch Touch with 2.0 already installed

Sorry if this was asked already.

I want to buy a Touch but want to wait until the stores have them with the new software already installed on the shelves.

Is this happening anytime soon?

If not does it even matter and I should just buy the current ones?

It should happen with in the next few days or maybe a week or so. I would at least wait a week and then call up there and ask.
