Not sure if anyone has mentioned these things yet, but I'm loving my 15" MBP touchbar. It has a lot of features that Apple doesn't mention:
  • Fast charging: does 0 to 60% in 20 minutes (this is while I'm using it at 70% brightness, so it might be even faster if I wasn't using it)
  • After a week, the USB-C plug is really easy to pull, so it acts a little bit like MagSafe
  • It feels like an iOS device in how easy it is to sleep and wake it by opening and closing the lid
  • Greater battery life with 10.12.2 (or whatever that newest version is)
  • Touchbar isn't very useful, but it's better than the function keys IMO

Touch bar will probably get better with time, the more developers that use it the better. I wonder if Apple will add new features with next years MacOS, at WWDC. It will be interesting to see how it pans out, I'm sure Apple have a roadmap and haven't gone in blind.

I'm very excited for WWDC this year! I think we will see some cool stuff (and hopefully some iOS iPad major improvements). No doubt Touch Bar will be a big focus for macOS

I think we will see more pro features for the iPad Pro and maybe more Touch Bar features. I also hope we see a new iMac next year, it won't be at WWDC cuss I know they don't do hardware at that event. I'm looking forward to the iPad Pro 2, new iMac and the new iPhone 8.

Still crossing my fingers for the introduction of Dark Mode across iOS and macOS

Is "fast charging" available only on 15 inch models?

You're gonna see force touch for the touchbar on the next models. Guaranteed.

Duet has already released a new version of their iOS app creating a touch bar on the iPad screen, so every MacBook can have a touch bar now as well. Pretty smart, and it's only the beginning...

Should have came with it. Sucks for us early adapters but as long as they keep improving it that's good

What I find awesome, is the ability to use just about any decent USB-C charger. For instance, at home I have the Microsoft AC-100 USB-C charger. It's meant for the Lumia phones, however it'll charge the MacBook overnight as well.

Is there really this feature? 0 to 60% in 20 mins is really quite fast.
Nope. The 15" tbMBP has a 87W charger along with a 76 Wh battery, which means it's impossible to get a 60% charge in 20 minutes. Even more impossible once you start using it while charging.

87W charger means it can charge a 87Wh battery in 60 minutes. (87/87=1hr/60minutes)
It would (if it could charge at full output all the way to 100%(which it can't)) charge a 76Wh battery 0-100% in 52 minutes. (76/87=0.873 hours or 52 minutes)

60% of 76Wh is 45.6Wh. (45.6/87=0.524 hours or 31.44 minutes)
By this, the fastest (theoretical) possible 0-60% charge you will get is just over 31 minutes.

Ha! I'm using an old iPad charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable at the office and it holds it charged up during use...lose maybe 2-3% during an 8 hour work day out at a client! Awesome!
