Touchbar is trolling me

am I the only one who is having trouble typing and inadvertently tapping the ESC key or the Command Center key due to the way you position fingers while you type?

The frustration of changing to a different window randomly or exiting out of an email your typing is frustrating!!!!!!

I do have the touchbar setup old school so they don’t change with each App.

Who else does this!?

Not me. I do not think I have hit it by accident, not even one time.

Still would like a DELETE key!

I actually tend to hit the spot ABOVE TouchBar trying to find Escape, because for a blind typist the fact the key doesn't stick out makes me think it's just "not there yet". I wish they kept this one physical key.

the worst is when windows flash up, or when dialogs appear and get cancelled in a loop...

I think I developed a habit of resting my finger tips above the top row of the keyboard on my previous MBP, because the keys were always so hot...

The other issue I find is the edges of my finger tips will trigger the touch bar, because you just have to brush it, not actually push it.

I've experienced it on "new" MBP 2016 15" when I've had it. Will let you know if it occurs on 2018 one although I'm buying a 13" one.

Fate0311, you are not alone!

When I lay down my fingers comfy over the keyboard, I found myself hitting ESC without noticing for a while. Of course, when some resonsive windows were open, it also put me in the same frustrating situation.

I wish force touch on ESC!

I doubt it. About a half hour ago, one of my fingers found the touch bar in error so you have cursed me.

I do like the touch bar, it's suggested word function is pretty smart sometimes.
