Thought I'd ask it here and give it one last chance before wiping my macbook pro and start from scratch.
My topcase got replaced and since it's back touchID won't work.
There are no fingers listed and when I try to add one macOS tells me the maximum number of fingers are reached and I should delete some.
Tried SMC reset, doesn't work. Found this one: "xartutil --erase-all" and it doesn't work either.
Is there any (other) way of clearing/resetting touchID?
(did find there is a touchid problem with big sur, but afaik that only applies to 2018 and later mbp's with a T2 chip)
