perfect app!

hopefully new versions will allow for some pre-configured keyboard shortcuts, and it's a full-fledge PC / Media remote control!
smooth action, very solid.

How does it work? I'm looking to try this myself. Looks really interested.

It's probably the easiest app ever to set up. Start Apple Remote Desktop on your computer, setting a password and allowing screen control, then connect to your computer from the app.

This would be really nice for viewing media on an HDTV with a mac connected to it. I know a lot of poeple out there have connected there Mac minis to their TVs. The iPhone would be the ultimate remote for web browsing or w/e you want to do sitting on your couch.

Does this have a keyboard that pops up when you hit a text field? That would be awsome.

I had an idea that an iPhone could be used as a multitouch input device for iMacs, etc. Wonder if this could be used for that purpose, just like the touchpad on the MacBook air? That would be amazing.

Well...I'm thoroughly impressed. Much more intuitive than I imagined. Ultimately I have a Logi MX Air that will suffice. But for dropping jaws affect this will do nicely.

definitely one of the best apps to come out for the iphone...it's simple yet it accomplishes quite a lot

however it sure does use a lot of the CPU...it could also use scroll...so it's not perfect yet

This thing is badass! Works surprisingly well, even on my dual screen setup! I'm using OS X's built in VNC server (In sharing prefs, enable Screen Sharing, click the options button, and check the box to allow VNC users to connect.)

Only real feature request is the ability to use the iPod sensors (or even just give the user an option) so you could use it sideways...

reminds me of the good ol days of using "salling clicker" on my treo. i have to say im not impressed at all. since i have been controlling my mac from my phone for years now. what i dont understand is why apple does not bunddle its own :apple:version of this with the iphone/iPtouch. and whats this buisness with the URL, if this is a web based app then your pretty much giving controll of your computer to the writter of this app, and/or limiting it use to whether you have internet access thus heavilly limiting its use with the iPtouch. keep in mind the author of such a web app probably cant see your mac desktop but it still has lots of malicious potentail we all need to keep an eye on. hopefully apple will become more friendly towards the idea of 3rd party software and unlocking of iphones/iPtouches so we dont have web app paranoia with apps like this

Its not a webapp, the link is just to the developers site, with a video of him using it to control his PC.
