Hi all,

Ive installed the new OS X Yosemite and i seem to have problems with my touchpad only during bootup. Im trying my to restore my macbook to factory settings but my touchpad wont click no matter what i do. it scrolls around fine and highlights things but for some reason it wont let me click.
Ive logged on to my normal user account and the touchpad works perfectly fine in the desktop. clicks, scrolls, highlights, etc.
Like i said the only time I have issues with the trackpad is during bootup.
Has anyone ran into the issues and have a solution to my problem?!

Thanks in advance

If you connect an external mouse, does it click?

Are you tapping to click or are you actually clicking?

The default settings on a Mac have that feature turned off, so that definitely won't work while doing an install.

You actually have to click down on the trackpad.
