Hey guys,

I just recently bought a Bluetooth keyboard with built-in touchpad for my iPad Air 4 and the pointer keeps moving slightly even when I’m not touching it. Is this a iPadOS bug, or is it a hardware issue with my keyboard?

I don't see that with a mouse or Magic Trackpad 2.

Who made the bluetooth keyboard and trackpad? I have found non-apple brands will do unique things. I had to send back my first two efforts for my iPad Pro. One had keyboard issues - would not always type or backspace. The one with the trackpad would not always respond fluidly. I finally purchased the Apple smart keyboard folio and decided I did not need or like the trackpad.

Yeah, it’s a non-Apple brand keyboard I bought from Amazon, it was the only one which wasn’t a case and had a built-in touchpad.

The touchpad is working flawlessly except for the few specific gestures where Apple limits it. I’ve anyways ordered a replacement, hopefully the new one doesn’t have this flaw.

Thanks for your input.

Well good luck. The Apple magic keyboard with a trackpad is $299. I find it overpriced for what it is. Too bulky and heavy too - IMO
