I have the aluminum MacBook 13", I am having problems with the touchpad..
Sometimes when I click it'll stay in like right-click. Does that make sense? Like I am not right-clicking but the function is staying. And the cursor acts like it's being right-clicked, when it's not..

Example: if I hover over data or an article it highlights without me actually trying to highlight it.. or im on the desktop it highlights and makes that boxy thing..

Anyone know what's going on? Or how to fix it?

Oh okay, I unfortunately aren't under warranty anymore :( .. hmm I wonder if there is any other way to get it fixed.. like troubleshooting tips? Anyone?

I'm having the same issue on a white 2008.
I know there's an issue with the software causing these problems. I'm sure that's my issue as it doesn't work with a USB mouse either.
The only thing I've found that might be helpful is a re-install. Haven't tried it yet, but I basically can't use the computer.
