I use Windows 10 via bootcamp primarily. I have the trackpad setup to accept two fingered taps as right click. I usually use the index finger of my left hand to left click on the very bottom left of the trackpad. This is very ingrained behavior for me.

this works for me on all of my other macbooks, but on this one, it only works 20% of the time.

Is there a setting or registry entry or any other thing I could manipulate to make it work 100% of the time?

Do I need to replace the trackpad?

If i move my finger in a half-inch it works consistently, but i subconsciously use the tactile sensation of the corner to position my finger.

How do I fix the trackpad?
