Touchscreen becomes unresponsive in landscape mode!

Okay, I've been having this issue since I upgraded to iOS8 with my iPhone 5 and now this issue has carried over my iPhone 6....
Basically the touchscreen stops working, can't zoom or tap, once I press the home screen then everything starts working again, but if I go back to the app it doesn't respond, so the only way I can fix this is to power off and on the iPhone again and everything seems to work fine.

This happens mainly when I playing games such Clash of Clans or Angry Birds Transformers...these are the main games I really play...

Anyone running into this problem or is it just me? I've read few suggestions by resetting your settings on your iPhone but that did not fix this issue for me at all.

The only other thing I can think of doing is doing a full wipe of my iPhone.

Same issue here.
Happened on all 3 iPhones I bought: two 6 and one 6 plus.

Different games here, but same issue. Sometimes in portrait too.

And for the record, all 3 iPhones were clean installed with latest OS

Awesome, thank you for clarifying this for me.

I hope this gets fixed in 8.1 this upcoming week...its very annoying when it happens.
I noticed this happens on youtube too when watching a video all controls cease to work....

Had the same problem on my 6 Plus. Haven't noticed it on my 6 though. Best to sit tight until Monday and see if 8.1 fixes it.

Also experiencing on 6+. At first it was Google and YouTube, now I'm getting it in djay2, the app was flawless for a week and its just started happening yesterday. It's as if the whole screen locks up, flipping to portrait and back to landscape works sometimes. Can anyone confirm 8.1 has solved this problem?

I have this issue too on my iPhone 6, very frustrating.

The more I use iPhone 6 the more issues I find.

1. Strange sound from the speaker when LCD is on.
2. Orientation getting stuck.
3. Screen being unresponsive to my taps.

Same. Also, from the lock screen I cannot swipe up for the camera. This is the most frustrating defect of all for me.

Happens to me, too. Really sucks trying to get the phone out to take a picture/video and lose the opportunity because touchscreen goes unresponsive.

I've noticed in safari sometimes it happens for some number of seconds then comes back, too

Just an update, since 8.1 this was fixed!
