Touchscreen stops responding after an Internet call

Most of the times, when I make and Internet call through Skype or another VOIP application my touchscreen stops responding and I have to reset it. I have an iPhone 3GS, jailbroken on 4.0.1. Another thing I must note, is that six months ago I replaced the glass screen (And digitizer) but everything worked fine after that. Any ideas of what might be at fault?
