Looking for a storage solution for work. Here's what i'm thinking. Two iMacs each running LR. One at two different physical locations. I'd like to store all of the .dng files in one location on a server (separate folders obviously for different photography locations). Now when I make edits to the .dng files from one iMac I want them to show up on the other iMac in a different location. Is this possible? I would really appreciate some help in achieveing this...or if there is a better way I would welcome that as well.

Basically I would like to have all original files in one location on server and see the results on each computer linked to the same files. I'm new to lightroom so i'm not sure if there is an easy way to do this.

I know the old version (1.4) didn't support files across networks.

You could however have the Library and Database both on an external USB/Firewire drive. I do this at home. That way if there are issue with my MacMini I can use my MacBook instead.
