Okay basically im in grade 9 computer science, i got bored with what were doing (pascal) anyways, i discovered the joy of ResEdit, which can manipulate the resource files. So anyways i edited the bootscreen for my Mac, but the image only takes up a small chunk of the screen. Is there any way to get an image to be sized to the full area of screen. Like alot of them have pretty much been molested alot of them have their bootscreens changed and edited. But only a handful of them are their boot screens take up the full screen. Ive looked through them and cant seem to find anything. Im guessing its some sort of dialog box, that dictates the size of the images, and also dictates the text that appears along with the progress bar. But where are the things like the size of the bootup screen and possiablly that text stored?
Were using Mac OS 9.2, i really want to know what does this ive done a search but all i really found was relating to panther or tiger. Im not looking for a third party tool, im looking for how to edit it in resedit.
Thanks.
