Is there a market for the tower Mac pro? Mine is about 1.5 years old fairly robustly configured and I have the 30 in cinema display . Thinking of sliming down ie reducing the amount of "stuff" on the desk . Being over 70 I don't do eBay etc thanks for any suggestions

You can sell to resellers like MacOfAllTrades.com. And, yes, there is definitely a market. Especially for dual CPU 2010-12s as they are easy to upgrade to dual hex X5680s or 90s, resulting in a Mac 5,1 that rivals the fastest 6,1 and for a lot less money.
