track application usage

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a application that lets me track the applications I use and log them to a file with the time I start using it? Or a way to build said app if it doesn't exist? I just want to know the time I switch to each application I use.

Edit: hmm won't launch on Snow Leopard. And I don't really have the time to fix it!
