I recorded a single track on GarageBand, and I can only get the audio to come out of the left speaker. There is no sound of any kind coming out of the right speaker. If I pan the track all the way to the right, no sound comes out at all. I've tried duplicating the track and panning one all the way to the left, and then panning another all the way to the right, but I've had no luck with this either. Any suggestions?

How was the audio recorded, with the built-in mic, through a USB or FireWire audio interface? If through an audio interface, disconnect it and try recording/playback through the built-in mic and speakers. If through the built-in mic, try through audio interface. Also examine the Track Info and verify it is set for Stereo rather than Mono.

This is (most likely) due to the track being recorded on only one channel. Change which channel it uses in the track info (either left or right) and it should be centered.

My computer was connected to a EQ/Soundboard using the RCA outputs on the soundboard and the audio-input jack on my computer. I set GarageBand to record in Stereo as well. I noticed on the audio track that the track has two lines in it, the one on the top has waves in it, but the one on the bottom of the track has nothing.

The odd thing is...
In GarageBand and QuickTime, audio will only come out of the left speaker, but when I open the exported file in iTunes, it will play through both speakers.
