Track Pad keeps getting lost?

Hi Guys
My track pad keeps getting lost?
Of late, each morning when I fire up the iMac, its now a struggle to get re-connected?
Is this something to do with Sierra? Or should I update to the latest Track Pad?

The track pad with the power bar is showing fully charged but am charging 2 eneloops as we speak to see
if the power bar is faulty
