Just this morning I began noticing when I push down on my mid 2010 MBP I get a loud high pitch click rather than a gentle thud. This happens on all areas except the bottom left hand corner where it sounds and feels normal. Even the feel of the click is different and I sometimes get no feedback that it even clicked. It doesn't seem to not work, but I'm worried it won't be long.

There's a pentabular screw that you can access which adjusts click pressure. Perhaps adjusting that very slightly? (you're going to need a security screwdriver set).

hmmm...I went to a mac store and the tech said it was fine. So, I'll keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse.

Thanks for the help
