The trackpad is not working. it will move slightly, but the multitouch gestures aren't working at all.

HELP!

Go to:
System Preferences/Universal Access/Mouse & Trackpad

1) Make sure the "Mouse Keys" are turned off
2) Make sure both the "Ignore track pad when...." boxes are not checked.

Then go to:
System Preferences/Trackpad

Make sure that your tracking speed and scrolling speed are not turned all the way down.

Trackpads, especially the unibody glass trackpads, seem to be highly sensitive to invisible dirt :).

Get some cleaner specifically made for a computer (e.g., iKlear), spray some on a microfiber cloth, and then rub the cloth on the trackpad glass and on the edges of the trackpad. Use some pressure (but don't break it). Next, use the opposite side of the microfiber to dry the trackpad.

Try it then?
