Hi,

I play a lot of soccer and would love to take the band off and keep the Apple Watch in my pocket so that I can track my activity, miles run, etc. It appears that it keeps some stats but not very accurate? Is there a way to set this up?

I don't really want to wear the watch on my wrist while I'm playing.

Thanks!

I've kept an AW in my pocket when I've used my Garmin for running and it seems to do a decent job tracking steps. Mileage isn't totally accurate since it's using stride and not GPS, but it's been close enough. I've also noticed that it's filled the activity rings when I've done this.

I've just thrown it one of the pockets in my running shorts and set the screen to lock. Not sure if there's a better method.
