trackpad 2-finger tap issue?... [RESOLVED]

i swear, on both of my macbooks, the trackpad doesn't seem to respond well to two-finger taps (to bring up menus, etc). this just started on both macs, on the latest beta.

anyone else? i find myself having to tap several times sometimes for a menu to pop up; never had this issue before. i would have assumed it was hardware, but this is on 2 macs...

fwiw, rebooted both macs, and everything seems fine...

From the short time I have spent with Mojave so far, I've realized that a reboot seems to fix a lot of absurd issues that don't really make sense otherwise and literally have no fix or reason. lol
