Trackpad 2 losing bluetooth connection

hey guy's i'm hoping someone can help me out here. I got the trackpad 2, it's been losing bluetooth connection multiple times per minute, I'm running el capitatn, everything updated, 2013 imac fully maxed out, idk what the issue is but im getting really pissed lol.

It's happening to me too, early 2013 15in MacBook Pro. I have the new trackpad as well, it's loosing connection just as frequently.

gman, I seem to of fixed mine, I ran a full system clean with onyx. Idk if your familiar with it but it's a real thorough system cleaner. you could try that and restart, hope it works. Also try a pram reset and/or smc reset. If your unfamiliar with how to do those just google it or ask me, I'll let you know, its easy.
