However, I have a white MB (2007 model) and it does not work? Is there a program I can download to let my MB trackpad do the 3 finger swipe?

Your MB does not have a multi-touch trackpad, those were released on early 2008 non-unibody MBP's, after the iPhone release. That is why it doesn't work on your MBP, it's hardware is not capable of detecting more than two separate fingers.

I can't vouch for the program myself as I haven't used it, but many people swear by a program called multi-clutch. You could always give it a whirl.
