I use Trackpad++ for BootCamp so that I can tap down lightly (without clicking) to the same effect as a click in Windows 10 on my Macbook. Unfortunately, the driver gets updated every few days, at which time the previous version stops working, so I have to constantly download the newest version. Does anyone know of any alternative drivers that will allow me to do what I want to do without this inconvenience?

Also, when I'm in W10, I frequently find myself unintentionally triggering this box on the right side of the screen. Is this something to do with the default settings in Trackpad++, or is it something else (and if so, is there a way to disable it)?

Please forgive the photo of the computer screen; this box vanished every time I tried to use the Snipping Tool.

Thanks.

Why are you using anything third party anymore?

Apple updated the Bootcamp drivers to support Windows Precision Touchpads and as a result, the Magic Trackpad 2 works Wonderfully right out of the box now. (for me anyhow)

Apple natively supports this now with the latest Bootcamp driver update.
Why use a third party to do it?
It was something I used before Apple updated Bootcamp. I stopped to use Windows on my mac, so can't compare now 😛
But that's true, Apple Bootcamp should be better than using my link 😉
