Hy everyone

I just bought a MacBook Pro 13-inch and click on the top is difficult to make. Going down, gradually, the click becomes perfect. is normal or is it broken??

Thanks a lot

I also just bought one of the 13" pros, and from what I understand, it is normal.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, as it the behavior my computer has as well.

Thanks

The tracpad on my 17" is like that too, and I don't think its an issue.

By the way, you might want to set "Tap to Click" on. It's so convenient I rarely if ever press the trackpad to click.

+1, yeah its normal, just use tap to click, to make it better. :)

What settings do you guys use for tap to click (i.e. - do you check "Dragging" or "Drag Lock"?

I would love to have all the normal window-dragging behaviors/interactions and whatnot without having to adapt my behavior to match (if you know what I mean), and wasn't sure what the best settings for that are

I have Tap to Click and Dragging checked for one finger and Secondary Click for two fingers. But I think it's a matter of preference.

it is a levered "hinge" mechanism..the point of rotation at the top is harder to press as there is more resistance/less travel than near the bottom

it is just how it's designed:apple:
