The trackpad on my 13" MacBook Pro stopped clicking a few days ago. I tried clicking numerous times with it, and it did not work. The computer sat overnight, and in the morning I tried to click again and the functionality would go in and out (certain spots on the trackpad were clickable).

I took it to the Genius Bar where I was told the trackpad was not set correctly and that there was a loose screw. They reset the trackpad (guess they realigned it with the case) and tightened whatever needed to be fixed. After that the Genius told me that I would need to put some extra force on my clicks, as pressing on the trackpad lightly as before would no longer register as a mouse click.

So the trackpad clicks, but only if a bit of force is required. Casually pressing down the trackpad to click is not possible anymore. I feel like I might be complaining too much when I say this, but putting the extra pressure down is very annoying. The computer is only six months old, and I have tried to take very good care of it. I'm a little disappointed that the functionality of it is already worse than it was when I first got it.

What I do now? I should mention that I've had the top case (including a new keyboard/trackpad) replaced before because a key came off of my computer and the entire keyboard had to be replaced. I'm wondering if I received a faulty replacement part (as one of the LED backlit keys does not light up all the way). Maybe I'm complaining too much though, although I did invest a lot of money into this computer.
