I have a unibody Macbook Pro from November of 2009, and it was worked flawlessly until about 2 days ago. I started noticing that clicks only register about 50% of the time when clicking on the trackpad. Nothing else has an issue, moving the mouse and gestures all work perfectly still. I'm wondering if this could be a hardware issue or something else?

Did you install any software lately that could relate to the trackpad? Like remapping software or something like that.

This EXACT same thing is happening to me. I think a drop of water may have seeped into the trackpad crack though.

At least yours is under warranty...so just take it in.

Am I going to end up being without a computer for a week or two if they have to repair it? This is my only computer and I run my business on it.
