Hi, it's not really a problem for me, but I found this strange issue that I have no explanation for.
Well, it is possible that the problem only occurs at this specific unit, but my trackpad freezes when I do the following:
Sometimes, when I'm working, I like to lay a note pad (I don't really know if this is the correct english term for it, but yeah, a bunch of papers) on my keyboard to copy something from the display. So the note pad covers the whole keyboard and trackpad. Then I am writing for like 2 or 3 minutes and after I put the note pad away again, the trackpad shows no response when I use one finger. When I touch the trackpad with my palm or 3 fingers however, it responds randomly, the cursor just moves in some direction or just "teleports". After a minute or so it begins to respond normally, but it has some kind of spasms for a while.
I can reproduce the effect any time, so I am pretty sure that the reason for this is the note pad.
(Oh, it is a Macbook Pro 13 from mid 2010, btw)
