I just recently had my trackpad replaced completely about 2 weeks ago due to it not responding to anything by the Genius bar. I have a 2010 13" Macbook Pro.

Now, it seems like my trackpad is malfunctioning but it could just be like.

I frequently use my thumb to click down on the trackpad, and another finger to highlight text so I can copy it. I can't stress how many times I due this a day. (usually for school)

Now when I do it, I can feel the button click down, but when I use my finger to highlight the text, it isn't registering correctly. When I click down and use a considerable amount of force, then try to highlight, it works fine. I do not ever remember having to remember to put force on the trackpad to get it to work correctly.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Is there a setting somewhere? Should I just take it in to the Genius bar and have them look at it? I don't like being petty over things.
