I have a Magic Trackpad that seems to click and move on its own intermittently. Secondary click, click and drag, pointer moves, etc. I switched it out with a known good trackpad, and I still have the problem so I'm thinking it's an issue with my system. I have a MacPro running 10.6 with 8GB RAM. I have changed the trackpad batteries, unpaired and paired the trackpad, restarted, and installed all system updates. Any ideas?

Did you wipe out your mouse preferences?

Does it happen in every application or just the finder?

Cheers

The issue seems to happen in every application, not just the finder. I did try to reset my mouse preferences.

I don't think any of those things in that article apply to my situation, but I appreciate the suggestion.
