So I recently replaced my uppercase of my 2009 macbook unibody. However, when replacing the trackpad, I didn't tighten it enough, or i tightened it too much.. Now it barely clicks down, and I'm not sure if whether or not I didn't tighten the screw tight enough, or if it's too tight. On the guide, it says to flip the case over when screwing the trackpad in and to tap it to feel if it clicks down properly. As a minor solution, I normally just use the tap to click feature, but tap to click doesn't work with right click, so I've had to buy a mouse until I fix the problem. Any of you guys replaced the trackpad or screwed it in before? If so, how did you know when it felt just right, and not too tight or loose?
