Hello everyone, I'm a new mac user....

So I got my first mac on Monday.

Macbook pro
2.4 ghz core 2 duo
15.4" widescreen
nvidia 8600somethign 256 mb
2 gb ram
160 gb HD 5400 rpm

Anyways, I successfully installed windows with a partition of 32 mb because I plan to install several sizable applications on it. After booting into windows my keyboard and trackpad work fine.

I put in the drivers CD that bootcamp burned, and while installing the drivers my keyboard and trackpad suddenly go kaput. I remember the progress bar was full and it was installing: intel chipset.

What do you recommend? Use bootcamp to format and repartition or is there any fix for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT- Furthermore, I have tried plugging in several USB keyboard/mouses to no avail, although they do work in osx. Basically the trackpad and builtin keyboard on the macbook pro cease functionality when booting into windows, but work fine on osx.
