Tapping on the trackpad lightly makes no sound, but sometimes tapping it slightly harder (but still lightly) around the center of the trackpad makes a very light "clicking" sound, but its not a full click and is very quick. Is this OCD or is this something that you wouldn't be bothered with?

I noticed other MacBooks and rMBPs I've tried have not had this sound and is always muted because maybe its glued very securely? Is there some way you can personally open up the macbook pro and "tighten" anything loose with the trackpad yourself? or is it better to just get it.... replaced?

Probably your bottom plate creaking :) lol j/k

Just enjoy your computer and stop looking for flaws. After a total of 6 returns for both gens of retina's, I decided to stop looking for problems. When I got my new 13 rmbp last night, I checked that I have an LG screen, Samsung SSD, and 1 battery cycle and I'm good to go.....

Starfyre, you are the most OCD person on the internet.

Congratulations.
